Civitavecchia
Civitavecchia is a town of 52,244 inhabitants of the Italian province of Rome romano.Affacciata place on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea, its history is linked to the navy and the fact commercio.Il its port is one of the most important in Italy and is an important terminal passengers, for maritime links - among others - to Sardinia, Sicily, and through the motorways of the sea, Barcelona, Tunis, Toulon, Malta and Corsica. Due to the large influx of cruise ships, the port of Civitavecchia is today the second stop in Europe by number of passengers per year in transit.

The ancient complex of the Baths of Civitavecchia, thanks to the excellent state of preservation, is among the most interesting in the whole Etruscan territory.
Historical Center

The old town is well preserved and very popular with tourists, although many of the historical monuments were destroyed by bombing in World War II. The most noticeable structures are the cathedral and numerous churches and piazzas and some buildings.

The historic port
The ancient port city, despite the changes over the centuries and the bombing of 1943, is an important piece of architecture.

National Archaeological Museum
Housed in the eighteenth century palace of Clement XIII (formerly the seat of the papal garrison), contains a series of archaeological finds from ancient Centumcellae and the entire area. The museum, located in Piazza Cavour 1, is divided into three levels.
